Wednesday, May 30, 2001 -- Day Two of the Conference

Search For Excellence

In an effort to showcase Master Gardener projects, the Search for Excellence program at the International Master Gardeners Conference is an opportunity for MG Associations to submit their projects to compete in four categories:

  • Youth Gardening Programs
  • Special Audiences
  • Demonstrations Gardens or Landscape Programs
  • Horticultural Teaching Tools.

The Search for Excellence program has selected our Habitat for Humanity project as one of eight Oral Presentations to be conducted tomorrow. Fellow DCMG's Judi Coyle and Lisa Noell will be delivering the presentation during the conference on Thursday. Our Davidson County MG website was also recognized by the Search for Excellence judges as one of 20 Poster Presentations lining the halls near the trade show on display throughout the conference.
